room service is excellent.The animation team is very friendly.The daily shows are also very nice.Food and drinks are very tasty.The children's water park is very beautiful.The main water park is excellent and varied.The landscape is very beautiful, and the atmosphere is more than wonderful, fresh air with sunshine.I really look forward to returning soon to repeat this wonderful experience.Thanks again to the animation team and the water sports operation team.Thank you, Ms. Christine, Guest Relations Officer.

Considering it was only built 11 yrs ago it looks alot older. Food court next to the water park was good. The water park was brilliant. The usually wrestle to get sun beds.. staff friendly and helpful. Buy your half price fun fair tickets between 8.15 and 9pm.

Try to avoid. All rooms are old and not luxury. There is only one restaurant included in all inclusive package and it is very crowded with thousands of people and you have to line up for every dish of food. Staff is friendly but they are serving huge number of people over their capacity. Beach is small compared to number of rooms and full of stones and rocks

Excellent hotel. Had a great time, service by staff was outstanding especially in main buffet restaurant. The food was good, but if you are a fussy eater, then you might struggle with choice at the evening meals, but at dinner, there are burger pizza hotdogs. The hotel was clean and pool lovely, and Waterpark brill. There is a fair open in the evening for younger children, a euro a ride. The evening entertainment was good, and during the day, the animation team provided a lot of activities to do and were very friendly. The rooms were very big and clean. The only letdown was the bathroom, which needs updating chipped wall tiles,shower screen not screwed in plush to wall. It didn't spoil the holiday but needs to be looked at. Overall, it's a great family hotel and holiday. I would recommend to people

I was in this hotel last October. The service was amazing, praise to the waiters and food in the restaurant! The location of the hotel is good, but the beach is not of the best you will see in the region. The rooms are okay, I would give them 3 to 4 stars, but they are clean and spacious. The cleaning persons are hardworking and they deserve 5 stars for sure!

Great Hotel and Superbe service/The beach is very close to the hotel - 10 min walk and with a wonderful coral reef.The hotel staff is super helpful, friendly and caring and coming from Germany it is a real game changer !Kids enjoy their time very much due to big water slide and at night with carousel, small roller-coast and much moreThe little down side was the food that just about average but at the end it is all good the weight :)Finally we had a health issue during the stay and having a competent doctor in the clinic inside the Hotel is a massive plus.Definitely will go again

Great place for the children if they enjoy water and a variety of slides, enough sunbeds to go around. Staff were excellent they couldn't do enough for you without bothering you. Activity staff friendly you need to look on the notice board to find out what activities are going on as the mike announcements are not clear.Reception staff also excellent. The whole site was spotlessly clean.Only issue was that the food labels were not clear enough as some food items contained fish such as rice you really had to look before you dished up as my husband has a fish allergy. There are 3 AL-ACART restaurants for a small extra fee, well worth it

This is a truly beautiful hotel.We went as a family of 11 (7 Adults, 4 Children age 14 12, 11 and 6)We had 4 rooms, 2 family rooms and 2 doubles, all rooms were very modern and cleaned to a high standard daily.All rooms had balcony with views of the pool.The water park was amazing, kept the kids entertained all holiday, the slides were so fun even the adults loved them!The main pool is so big and there is pool activities throughout the day. Aquafit in the mornings and other activities later on.Pool parties and foam parties weekly which are fab!Entertainment was good at the aqua stage there were dancers, circus shows etc. They had a beach party 1 night at the near by beach at the sister hotel which is not far (5min walk) but there is a regular shuttle bus. The Beach party was fantastic, they bad put lots of effort into making this entertainment for the guests.Entertainment crew are fab they go above and beyond, the kids loved them!The fair is fun for the children in the evening, tickets cost £10 for 16 tickets, each ride costs 1 ticket. There is also an arcade for the same price but machines cost 2 coins per game.Food was amazing, huge variety every day. The main restaurant have lots of choice, there is also brick stoves outside which they make steak, pizzas etc on. Delicious!By the slide pool there is a food court that does lots of different types of food throughout the day.Drinks are lovely, cocktails are like the ones you get in the UK (pina colada is lush!)There are shops on site, a pharmacy, an oil shop (selling oils , moisturisers etc), taxi service desk, excursion desks, a-la-carte restaurants (need to prebook 1 per week).Everything about this hotel was amazing. We would definitely recommend 👌🏾

1st, pay £10 get a sim at Airport, Rooms are basic, ac works, cheap & cheerful. Staff made the difference, they will move mountains, receptionist, Allah excellent service. Mahmoud in food Hall would go the extra distance, animation team tried to keep everyone entertained.

Brilliant time here. Loads of water slides, easy enough to get into town and plenty to do.My daughter absolutely loved it and the mini Luna Park in the evening gives something extra to do. Not cheap, but the kids will love it.

Amazing resort with a huge aqua park. Very nice activities for kids all day.The staff are so friendly, the restaurant offers good quality food with wide varieties.the resort has many bars with good varieties.

I really enjoyed my stay at serenity fun city resort. I was travelling with four children and the Aqua park and resort kept the kids entertained the entire time. They have a fair which is on after dinner for the kids which the adults can also enjoy. I noticed that there was a variety of options in terms of food and the food was very good. if you’re looking for a place to stay in an all-inclusive and don’t care about exploring the country too much this is the perfect place for you, there’s something for everybody. One thing I would say is that the spa extremely expensive and I got a manicure and pedicure at the salon and it was absolutely horrendous.

Me and my husband stayed at alpha beach but of course being next to each other and same hotel, we came here for the restaurants that were included in our stay. Upon asking about the pool fun city we were told we had to pay a price per person per day extra, giving the fact that we paid loads of money, and guests from fun city could come in alpha, it seems very money grab to ask alpha guest to pay to stay in the pool here. They also have about 4 rides in the evening but you also need to pay extra for each ride. The wheel opens when they want to who they want, very rude people. Had to come 4 different days at different times and on the 4th day I had to make a fuss to tell them they had to open it since one day they were closed at 7 and said to come at 8pm the other day we came at 8pm and said they were close to come at 9pm and so on. Both alpha and fun serenity are cheap scam.

We had a holiday here with 3 family's and none of us could fault the stay . Great staff and facilities excellent. We'll looked after and also food was a great variety and plenty of it . Mario who works in the perfume shop just down from the lobby made our stay even better , what a nice guy and great shop . We went to sit with him a few times just to chat and have a tea with . We made a good friend 👌👌

Beautiful hotel with typical Egyptian 5 star service.Everything is clean and well kept, the staff are attentive but not overbearing, the food and drinks are nice, plenty of stuff to do, and very family friendly. We did a lot of exploring but if you wanted to spend your whole holiday in the resort, you could and not be bored.There were quite a lot of kids (as there should be in a family hotel!) so maybe wouldn't be most couples first choice for a romantic getaway for two but we chose it for the location and facilities and weren't disappointed.The service in Egypt is always outstanding in the resorts. Elsewhere can be hit and miss. People selling things can be a little aggressive about it but keep in mind tourism is their main source of income.I highly recommend a trip to the Valley of the Kings - best excursion in Egypt - and an evening sail down the Nile.

- Rooms were not cleaned well while checking in also not sanitized, rooms are old and need re-inovation.- Very high capacity, food quality in the ground floor restaurant was horrible and the cleanliness as well.- unprofessional staff, the pool towels were received wet due to high capacity, the guy mentioned that there was no time to keep it longer in the dryer.- Pool area is not cleaned regularly as food and juices are always dropped in the floor.- it is mentioned it is a 5 stars hotel as it is not even a 3 stars hotel.- very weak network and wifi coverage.- Il Dente restaurant was much better and the staff was really friendly and well trained.- the fun city and the faculities are really good for kids.

Staff are amazing, and go the extra mile. Beach quite rocky. You can walk to another nearby beach which we understand is wonderful. Food choices were excellent (vegetarian options available). Waterslides are good fun. Trips via the hotel are a little pricey we booked ours online.

Amazing hotel, everyone from Reception to entertainment staff (Dora & Abi) to all waiters, cleaners, porters, gardners work tirelessly. It is the staff which makes this hotel everyone was truly fantastic. Great food daily everthing so fresh and tasty. Desserts were best I've seen in an AI hotel, drinks good too some amazing bar staff please do tip. Waterpark was fantastic too especially the wave pool. Highly recommended. The entire hotel is spotless. WiFi needs to be improved asap and all the slippery tiles around pools need urgent looking into we saw a few accidents this isn't acceptable. Thank you for your hospitality we will be back! ✌️

The food here is amazing and the view is absolutely magnificent! There's a wide variety of drinks to choose from. (alcohol free) The aqua parks have amazing rides and there are so many slides to choose from. The room is HUGE and very clean. Overall it's an amazing hotel.

We generally had a positive experience. Great pools, aqua parks, children’s activities and food variety.The main letdowns were the wifi connection, a/c in the rooms and the fact that they only give you a key per room, inconveniencing families who typically spend a lot of the day outside the room and require access throughout the day for the family.The main restaurant gets really busy, especially at night. For crowd control I would recommend asking guests to book hourly slots for dinner on a first come first served basis.

What an amazing hotel.From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were looked after by every staff member.The hotel is spotlessly clean, food was stunning with lots of choice, rooms need updating which the hotel is doing but they were a good size, clean and had a nice balcony.The pools are nice and the slides fun for adults and children, lots of evening entertainment again to suit adults and children.There is a great dive centre on the beach at the end of the sister hotel, 5 mins walk away, you can use the sister hotels facilities tooNice beach bar for drinks and lunch..Lots of day trips available from the hotel, shops and a cash point onsite.

There are 2 Serenity:-Serenity fun city, is the one with Aqua park, but the beach is far and need to take the shuttle, which is available every 15 mints.- Serenity beach, is near to the beach but not the Aqua.Both have separate restaurants.My review is for Serenity fun City.The Hotel in general is very good.Positive reviews:- The Landscape is good, a lot of spaces to stay relaxed and enjoy the atmosphere.- The Swimming Pools are near to the Aqua park, but the beach you have to wait for the shuttle bus every 15 mints as the beach is a little bit far.- The food is excellent, even the snacks and the drinks are excellent. Food has a lot of varieties and tastes great.- The Staff are friendly and helpful, we asked to change the room and it was welcomed from their side and helped us to change it.Negative reviews:- No welcome drink.- The family room with only one bathroom and only one Tv, which makes the stay very difficult specially with more than 1 child.- The room has only one basket.- The shower doesn’t have any holders to hold the shampoo and the shower gel, so you have to keep holding it or put it on the floor.- A la carte restaurants needs 7 nights stay.In General, despite all the negative in the rooms , you will enjoy your stay and the food as well .

Brilliant Place. Food can sometimes be bland. Variety of food. Amazing night entertainment. Brilliant water park. Booking excursions can be very cheap on some occasions. 5 restaurants altogether found with many bars. Has a private beach with a shuttle bus every 15 minutes. Beach is nice and rocky. Please bring appropriate footwear if you are going to visit the beach. Staff are very pleasant and nice. Rooms like 6429 are very nice whilst the 5 thousand rooms are very tatty and old. If you do get into the 5 thousand rooms, ask the woman manager to change your room on the reception. Waterpark staff are very friendly for kids. The crazy River staff member “Sad” was really nice and would give us an amazing time on the rides. Lovely Place. Definitely visit this place. Highly recommended.

Thought we'd take a well deserved break with our 7 children.Constantly bombarded by people selling things at the poolside. Very forceful and rude staff.The staff won't take no for an answer. Very over priced for everything and bad mouthing the other businesses here. The guy selling camel rides extremely rude about our son with autism. We told him no, he then went and brought over a lady who went with him and told her we wanted to see her photos. We didn't!And we told him again, no. He won't take no for an answer and still keeps pestering us.Room is dated and in need of major repairs. Extremely noisy air conditioning in the room.Found out once we arrived that we are nowhere near the excursions, so a very long drive to do anything.Very poor information on arrival from staff/reps.Only 1 key card given which meant often being locked out and waiting over an hour for the staff to come to help.We have found that everything is very is very unorganised, and if you speak their language you can jump the queues and get your own way.Our children queued up for nearly 1.5 hours for their face painting and then told that they need to come back in an hour after the evening show finished at 10.30pm.The entertainment staff have zero people skills, the evening entertainment was terrible each evening. Normally we find the staff engaging and getting everyone involved, but here, they're most boring. None of our children wanted to join in with the disco that they normally would do.Be careful when booking excursions as we were told entry into the pyramids and food and drink provided throughout. The guide didn't want to provide food or drink so we had to buy and said that he wanted extra for us to go in the pyramids.On a plus, weather lovely and good good, although there is very little for children.You have 2 foods to choose from for kids, fish and chips or burger and chips.Certainly not a 5* hotel as advertised. I'd give it a 3 being generous.Not enough staff for the water slides or rides. One staff member having to jump between them all.This trip has put me off Egypt all together.

What a lovely week we've had here. Service is superb. Everyone working here is so friendly. Will go above and beyond to help, in any way they can. Free shuttle bus every 15 mins to beach, which is just what you need to cool down- a dip in the Clear, crystal blue sea! Plenty to do, from quad bikes, water park just 15 min bus ride, boat trips ect. Very hot here in July- 40°c some days. Slides on site and entertainment day and night. Rooms cleaned every morning to a very high standard. Great selection of food, and very tasty. Safety is top priority here!Would recommend 👌

rooms yes dated but expected for an upcoming popular tourist place, plenty space in the family rooms. The staff are the friendliest and helpful people. some of the shops on site say something cost one thing but charge you over, take care when paying by card twice now we have been charged over what it was, didn't realise till used the exchange rate back after looking at receipt was charged more. Hotel is beautiful, plenty to do there. Plenty of excursions to do at reasonable prices also. They will try and sell excursions by the poolside, but you politely say no thank you and they will leave you.

The best place for families with children. Great and big swimming pools, wild river, Aqua Park, Lunapark, Kids Club, dance instructors, crazy and funny events, etc.Bridge with snorkeling platform at the beach, right above the coral reef with thousands of colorful fish available form the evening till 06:00 PM. Great experience at your fingertips.Big and clean rooms, very useful and kind hotel and restaurant service.We traveled from Poland.

Lovely resort. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The beach is amazing. The food was lovely, plenty of choice. Rooms were cleaned daily. The only thing I would say is it's a little far out from Hurghada itself, which we didn't realise when we booked (our first time in Egypt) so this adds a lot of travel time if you want to go shopping or sightseeing.

I had the pleasure of staying at Serenity Fun City Resort in December, and I must say it was a wonderful experience. The resort was not only clean and well-maintained but also exuded a festive atmosphere that added to the holiday spirit.The waiters at the resort were exceptionally nice and polite, making every meal a pleasant experience. Speaking of meals, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The culinary offerings were not only diverse but also delicious, adding another layer of enjoyment to my stay.The entire staff, from the receptionists to the manager, Mr. Polis, were consistently friendly and went out of their way to ensure guest satisfaction. Everyone was incredibly nice and demonstrated a genuine commitment to creating a positive experience for guests.I must also extend my appreciation to Maria from guest relations, who truly lived up to her reputation as the sweetest angel. Her warm and attentive approach made me feel valued as a guest.The resort's pristine beach added another dimension to the overall enjoyment of my stay.The beach at the resort was simply great. Just returned from Serenity Fun City in Makadi Bay, Hurghada, and we loved it there! The staff were incredibly welcoming, making every moment special. Ahmad, who looked after our room (5124), amazed us daily with his creative towel art and kept our space immaculate and left fresh towels for us daily.The food, especially the Middle Eastern dishes, was great. Our kids loved the water slides and the warm baby pool, and even I couldn't resist joining in on the fun. The spa treatments, particularly the Thai massage and Cleopatra treatment, were really nice too.A special shout out to Corina, the customer relations manager, whose regular check-ins ensured we were always happy and satisfied with our stay. We also enjoyed a fantastic private quad biking adventure and found some great skincare products at the on-site oil shop.Additionally, we took advantage of the free shuttle bus to the sister hotel's beachfront, where we enjoyed complimentary drinks at the bar and delicious lunch. Snorkeling there was like being in a tropical fish tank :)We hope to return to Serenity Fun City for another unforgettable vacation. A huge thank you to everyone at the hotel!

From 9 am to 6 pm.You can use bars when go to the beach.The beach is rocky and there is a bridge where you can swim or make a snorkeling and u can see the colorful fish while you are walking in the bridge.The animation team is very good at making a different shows after dinner every day.Luna park ( malahy) is nice for children open every day from 7 to 11 pm.Kids club is lovely for children to spend time in making hand crafts or painting.Over all experience is very good and highly recommended

I would make this 5 star review unfortunately reception desk thinks they're better than everyone else. I asked for extra room key for 3 days and for 3 days they're refused me ( their policy ). I work in hospitality industry and first time I hear such a bullshit. It made my life very hard as I'm traveling with big family and only one room key ( disaster ). Besides that all the staff very friendly, aqua park amazing, food selection great. Hotel might be bit old but you don't stay in hotel room so that's fine. Over all recommended.

We stayed in this beautiful hotel for 2 weeks and it was amazing. Our children absolutely loved it and enjoyed the slides, the entertainment team was fantastic. Food was amazing. Very clean hotel. Will definitely be returning ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This resort offers excellent value for money! A wide range of delicious food, clean rooms, beautiful grounds which are looked after by a team of skilled and hardworking gardeners. Everyone working here does really well trying to communicate with all the different languages spoken by the guests here. I absolutely loved it here, and can't wait to come back!

Hotel is really very good, rooms are clean and spacious, food is amazing, staff is helpful. Aqua park is free of charge, pools are nice. I didn't understand why they closed pools at 7pm, the weather is cooling off at that time, it is perfect for a nice swim. There is nothing to do else at night, since the hotel is around 30km away from Hurgada. There was some kind of a loud party with dancing, but we didn't like it, for us it would be nicer to swim and chill. The beach is easily reachable by bus that goes very often, but you can't swim or dive or snorkel, since you have to walk a long way across rocks and come to a rope that stops you from going any deeper. So, good food, nice pools and water park, many activities outside the hotel (that you have to pay for - like visiting the desert, parasailing, diving...) is something to do for fun, but if you came to swim in this area, it is not possible.

One of the best experiences ever. My kids were so sad when we were leaving. The staff are exceptional especially Mr. Ehab Ahmed; the front office manager. He made me feel like family.The buffet is excellent . The aqua is fascinating. The animation team are super active, they havenot left a free single moment without funny and amusing activities. Will revisit again for sure.
